Africorps primary activities are focused mainly within the supply of mining equipment and chemicals to the biggest mining houses throughout Africa. Our competitive advantage lies within the deep relationships we form with every supplier and customer alike allowing us to identify areas of customer concern, manage logistics holistically and source & procure effectively with our partners through our comprehension of the intricacies of commerce and trade in the countries in which we are active. Our physical presence in Africa has cemented our position as first responders to any and all client needs, allowing us to service some of the biggest mines in the world, whilst also being strategic supply partners to the multitude of smaller mines looking to take on the mining giants they compete with.

We have a committed partnership in the DRC through our Africorp DRC entity, which allows us the unique position to meet the local legislative requirements as we supply the demand from that region. This ensures we can source and console internationally and locally, whilst remaining fully compliant.

Our clearing and forwarding agents, ensure the exporter and importer have covered all legalities in the movement of goods between countries and remain compliant at all times. Customs operations are handled from point A to point B and we make use of licensed customs clearance agents to ensure various customs administrations are simplified with pre-paid clearance procedures to avoid delays and penalties at the border and on route to destinations. CLEARING AND FORWARDING

CLEARING AND FORWARDING

Our clearing and forwarding agents are accredited with the local customs authorities, border agencies and ports. The clearing agent arranges customs clearance, customs inspections and all necessary documentation for purchased goods to ensure timeous delivery across-border. The forwarding agent collects the goods from supplier, checking the items, packing list and certifications are in order and the shipment is compliant. In the event of hazardous cargo, permits may be required, and they have the expertise to arrange the necessary documentation to cross-border and ensure these items are shipped correctly and comply with the rules and regulations of the export and import country. Should insurance be required, this will be costed accordingly depending on the value of the shipment.

Taxes and duties are calculated prior to departure and pre-clearance is arranged before shipment to avoid unnecessary delays. Your shipment will be handled and monitored from the moment it is picked up to when it is delivered. Movement of cargo will be dispatched by waybills and daily reports are sent to clients to update them on the expected date of delivery.
